Your “adoption dossier” is a collection of documents. It includes:
• Financial information (e.g., verification of employment, copies of tax returns);
• Background check (criminal history check);
• Medical information;
• A copy of your marriage license;
• Fingerprints;
• A home study review, conducted by a licensed social worker.
These documents are translated and used to create the court petition so you can finalize your adoption.
Different countries may ask for additional information. We monitor this constantly, and will make sure your dossier is complete and correct.
